Cupcake Love

My cupcake love probably starting during my second year of graduate school (2007).  I started to visit various cupcakeries in California and New York, and began experimenting with a variety of cupcake recipes.

When I took a roadtrip to move back to the east coast I even stopped at a handful of cupcakeries in various southern cities, including Nashville, Austin, and Baltimore. My addiction literally spanned the country.

When a friend from out west came to visit me in New York, I made him go on a self-led NYC cupcake tour (in one day).  Let’s just say, we ate at 5 cupcakeries.  Thank goodness I love to walk when in Manhattan.

For now, below you will find a few random shots of cupcakes I’ve made the past year.  Down the line I’ll be adding a list of cupcakeries visited, photos of said cupcakeries, and hopefully even reviews.  Stay tuned!

In progress!
